By Ryan Mumau

Head Coach of Beavers MS basketball

Corry Middle School basketball traveled to Girard for their fourth game of the season. With a lackluster start, Corry found themselves down 20-13 at halftime. Although Corry tried to fight back into the game, Girard's lead proved to be too much for the Beavers, falling 29-25.

Mikayla Comitz finished with eight points and one rebound. Ava West had seven points, seven rebounds, seven steals, and five blocks. Baylee Northrop had six points, four rebounds, and a block. Maci Kemp had four points followed by Liv Swan with four rebounds and a steal, and Jordyn Watrous with a steal.

"We know what we need to do to get better. We have a couple of practices to prepare for North East."

The Beavers will finally get to some home cooking after three straight away games. They host the North East Grape Pickers on Tuesday September 10th and Fairview on Thursday September 12th. Both games are slated for a 4:00 PM opening tip off

Corry:  5 - 8-6-6 - 25
