Blog Reports by Brendan Boucher and Ben Anderson

Brendan Boucher led his lady Beavers soccer team against Fort LeBoeuf on Monday night. Even though the Beavers where in the comfy confines of sheen field, The Bison took the win with a score of 3–0. It was not for lack of effort from the lady Beavers though.

The girls played phenomenal soccer tonight and Lindsey Hasbrouck came up huge for the beavers making save after save. Last year, Fort LaBeouf knocked us out of the playoffs in the second round beating us 9–0 so this was a huge improvement for us.

To put the game into context FLB has been a divisional juggernaut for years so to hold them to three goals tonight certainly feels like a win. This is the first of three really tough matchups where our region (region 5) has to play region four this year. If we can play like we did tonight win or lose we’ll be in pretty good shape.

The boys soccer team also played Monday night on the road at Seneca. Corry would would also drop their game to the Seneca Bobcats 5-0 as reported by Head Coach Ben Anderson. Gavin Munsee had 15 saves on the night. Jonas Anthony had two shots. Levi Merrill and Gavin Ongley each had one shot.
