Corry Girls Middle School Basketball Coach
Corry hosted Titusville for the 8th grader's final home game of their middle school career on Friday. Corry finished the season strong by defeating the lady rockets 25-9.
The lady Beavers started strong by jumping out to an early 16-2 lead and never looked back as Corry went into halftime up 20-4 and coasted to Victory. We were able to control the tempo from start to finish. Our defense made it difficult for Titusville to get into any type of rhythm offensively. It was also nice to have players practicing different positions.
Overall, I am pleased with how we are playing on both sides of the ball. We are currently on a five game win streak going into our last week of the season.
Ava West led us with eight points, eight rebounds, two assists, three steals, and two blocks. Maci Kemp had six points, two assists, and two steals. Liv Swan finished with four points. Jordyn Watrous had two points and a rebound. Emma Kight had two points, three rebounds, two steals, and a block. Baylee Northrop had two points, two rebounds, and two steals. Mikayla Comitz had one point, a rebound, two assists, and a steal. Delaney Church finished with two rebounds and a steal while Hannah Daniels had a rebound.
The Beavers will now head to the end of the year tournament starting on October 24th/
Corry: 16-4-5-0-----25
